I found out today that I will be one of 36 participants in Leadership Charlottesville this fall. I will be writing about the experience here.

An active member of the Charlottesville community, Marijean was voted one of 20 people to watch by the C’ville Weekly, is a member of the 2006 class of Leadership Charlottesville and serves as a board member of the Charlottesville Community Scholarship Program and PACEM, an organization serving the homeless in her community. Marijean was the 1998 Guinness World Records holder for creating the world’s largest bouquet of flowers.
